Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport PHOENIX

Living out of the Phoenix Metro area it used to take 1 1/2 hours to reach the airport. City traffic has become so horrible and unpredictable that we would allow 2 1/2 hours to reach the off-site parking facility. This time our flight left at 6am, we drove in at our leisure the afternoon before our flight, had a good night's sleep, left our car there, and were shuttled to the airport...less than 10 minutes away. On return, we called the front desk and they dispatched a shuttle which arrived in less than 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable.

We used their Park & Stay plan for a trip, rather than leave our car in a pay lot. The nightly rate was below what the parking would have had to pay for. The room was nic, the bedding very nice and it was pretty quiet. Even the AC wasn’t too noisy. There is a little restaurant on site. We had pizza. I would request extra sauce if we had it again, but the crust was great and the toppings generous. Staff was helpful and friendy.

Room, etc. fine. Issue with shuttle service. Large shuttle showed up shortly after we called. Driver kept saying "Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix North." I was unaware there were 3-4 hotels with basically same name in the area. Asked for clarification of "North" once in van and was told it was incorrect van, so we had to unload and catch the "real" shuttle to our Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport hotel a few minutes later. Not a big deal, but agents should make very clear that there are subtle differences in names for this series of hotels that a weary traveler might not catch late at night.
